I fell in love with Zoot's sire, Mac, and so did Chick so when he had a litter of puppies I was so excited to get one of the males. Zoot is everything you would expect a standard schnauzer to be, stubborn, loving, protective, and honestly my best behaved dog. He was 3months old when I got him and my first puppy. We both taught each other a lot! He is the easiest schnauzer to groom and has helped multiple groomer master the schnauzer cut. He will go all day long if you let him and he does think he is a borzoi and just as fast as them. He loves to course and is probably the only box trained schnauzer for LGRA (straight racing). He is my fun police dog who always tries to make sure that no one else is having too much fun. He will road work or run with the borzoi all day and still be ready to do more. Zoot is the best trainer of the borzoi for the field, getting them use to being bumped or another dog making a lot of noise. The borzoi he runs with all do better on the field because no sighthound can compare to the noise Zoot can make when he is mad everyone is running faster then him.

Zoot lived to 14yr and I let him go when his body failed him. He is forever missed and the house feels empty without him.
